Instructions
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add 2 oz of Scotch whisky.
- Squeeze in 1 oz of fresh grapefruit juice.
- Add 0.75 oz of simple syrup (1:1 sugar to water ratio).
- Add a dash of smoky bitters.
- Shake well until chilled.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a twist of candied grapefruit peel.
