Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.
Step 2.
- In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Scotch whisky and 1 oz of sweet vermouth.
Step 3.
- Add ice and stir well for 30 seconds to combine and chill the ingredients.
Step 4.
- Empty the ice water from the coupe glass and strain the mixture into the glass.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel, expressing the oils over the drink before placing it in the glass.
