Step 1.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Step 2.
- Add 2 ounces of Scotch whisky.
Step 3.
- Pour in 3/4 ounce of sweet vermouth.
Step 4.
- Add 1/2 ounce of fresh lemon juice.
Step 5.
- Add 1/2 ounce of simple syrup.
Step 6.
- Shake well until chilled.
Step 7.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Step 8.
- Garnish with an orange twist.
