Step 1.
- Prepare your smoking device with wood chips and ignite it to create smoke.
Step 2.
- In an Old Fashioned glass, add a sugar cube and a few dashes of Angostura bitters.
Step 3.
- Muddle the sugar with the bitters to create a paste.
Step 4.
- Add the whiskey to the glass and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 5.
- Fill the glass with large ice cubes and stir again to chill.
Step 6.
- Capture the smoke with the smoking device by placing a glass lid over the drink and allowing the smoke to infuse for about 30 seconds.
Step 7.
- Garnish with a twist of orange peel and a cocktail cherry before serving.
