Step 1.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of tequila, 1 oz of simple syrup, and 1 whole egg.
Step 2.
- Shake vigorously without ice for about 15 seconds to emulsify the egg.
Step 3.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake until well chilled, about 15-20 seconds.
Step 4.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

- Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg on top.
