The Sherry Nog
A unique twist on the classic eggnog, infusing rich sherry for a delightful holiday treat.
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together 2 egg yolks and 1 ounce of sugar until well combined.
- Slowly add 1 cup of milk and 1/2 cup of heavy cream, continuing to whisk until smooth.
- Stir in 3 ounces of sherry and a pinch of salt.
- In another bowl, beat 2 egg whites to soft peaks, then gently fold them into the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a footed glass, and top with grated nutmeg.
