Step 1.

- In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 oz of bourbon, 1 oz of dark rum, and 1 oz of brandy.

- Add 0.5 oz of sweet vermouth and a dash of Angostura bitters.

- Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15 seconds.
Step 5.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
Step 6.
- Express the oils from an orange peel over the drink, then drop it in as a garnish.
