Instructions
- Muddle 5 fresh basil leaves in a cocktail shaker to release their oils.
- Add 2 oz of vodka and 1 oz of dry vermouth to the shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
- Garnish with a fresh basil leaf and a twist of lemon peel.
