Vodka Modern Classic

Instructions
- Chill a coupe glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 ounces of vodka, 3/4 ounce of freshly squeezed lemon juice, and 1/2 ounce of simple syrup.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
- Remove the coupe glass from the freezer or discard the ice water.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
